9:00 – 10:45 am “Introduction” to Nordic Pole Walking Clinic – Outdoor Clinic. In case of rain we are under the shelter or under the canopy of the trees!
11:00 – 12:15 pm Nordic Pole Fitness Walk – Dress for the weather:)

The 9:00 am Introduction Clinic is for those who have never Nordic Walked before and for those who would like to brush up on their skills. You will learn how to set your pole height, how to use your straps, how to walk then the basic technique of Nordic Pole walking. During this clinic you will learn how to set your individual pole height, how to put on the straps and then the 5 steps to Nordic Pole walking. You will also learn about the health benefits as well as background scientific research in support of Nordic Pole Walking.
The 11:00 am Nordic Pole Walking Fitness Walk
Is for anyone who has attended an “Introductory Clinic”, own their own poles and can easily walk for one hour. It is wonderful to walk with others who love to Nordic Pole walk also. There is always so much to learn and it is always fun to work on technique! Dress for any weather and bring your water.
Walking poles will be provided for you to borrow for the Introduction Clinic. You will have an opportunity to purchase your own set of poles at the end of the session if you wish. The price of a set of Nordixx Poles with a carry bag and set of feet is $75 including tax and shipping.
Weekly Walking Groups throughout the year at Sheppard’s Bush!
For anyone who has attended an Introductory Clinic, owns their own poles and can easily walk for 1 hour+!

Purchasing Nordic Pole (Fanny Pack) $25 each
Has 2 zip pockets (one large to hold a your keys, the other can hold everything else). Includes a small water bottle holder.
Poles are always available for purchase at all “Free Clinics” If you would like to purchase a set of poles just email Shawn at firstname.lastname@example.org and they can be waiting for you at the pro-shop at St. Andrews Valley Golf Course the next day!
